Booklet design for a graduate typography course. We were instructed to create a booklet that illustrates and enacts the ideas of a chosen article, staying “true” to the message. I chose Andy Bryan’s “Is me really monster?”…a story about Cookie Monster searching deep within his soul. Chewna began as a package design experiment. The assignment was to invent an unappealing product and create an attractive/believable package for it.
The success of the package design among my peers led to the creation of chewna.com several years later as a graduate interactive design project.
